The Department of Clinical Research Informatics is committed to delivering secure, responsive, high-quality, customer-oriented information technology services and support that foster excellence in clinical care and biomedical research.  DCRI is responsible for creating and maintaining the technological infrastructure necessary to support the clinical and research activities conducted in the NIH Clinical Center. This includes building and maintaining servers and client applications, configuring and deploying desktop and laptop computers for Clinical Center and IC staff, developing custom applications, maintaining system operations, and managing databases.

Clinical Research Information System

CRIS is the primary computer information system used to support patient care, research, and administrative activities in the Clinical Center. NIH Staff only.

Information Technology Center

The Clinical Center Information Technology Center provides NIH Clinical Center employees with the latest technologies supporting the creation of posters and presentations for conferences and annual meetings as part of clinical research and patient care.

Radiology Imaging Library

The Radiology Imaging Library uses an NIH approved secure file sharing service, BOX, to upload imaging studies performed outside of the Clinical Center to the Radiology Imaging Library.
