NIH Clinical Center Summer Internship Program
The NIH Clinical Center Summer Internship Program offers an 8-week summer research experience for college, graduate, and professional students interested in exploring careers in research and healthcare. NIH Clinical Electives Program
The NIH Clinical Electives Program offers short term, 4-to 12-week, clinical rotations to allopathic or osteopathic medical students who have completed their core clerkship rotations. The focus of the Clinical Electives Program is enhancing the training experience for highly motivated students who are strongly interested in, or committed to, research-oriented careers in academic medicine. NIH Medical Research Scholars Program
The NIH Medical Research Scholars Program is a research immersion program for medical, dental, and veterinary students. Participants begin in July and must commit to 10.5 months of participation. Participants engage in a didactic curriculum, professional development workshops, and receive vigorous mentorship.
