She then moved to Columbus, OH in 2011 to formally begin her clinical career in vascular medicine via The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In March of 2022, she returned to Maryland in order to be closer to her family. Ms. Agharahimi graduated with an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner in December 2002 from the University of Florida. She worked in Family Practice for four years at the UF College of Medicine outpatient clinic prior to moving to the DC area. She has been with NIAID as the sole NP in the Primary Immune Deficiency clinic since January 2011. She is an AI on NIAID protocols that evaluate patients suspected of or with known genetic immune deficiencies, such as PIK3CD, CTLA4, LRBA, RAG1, MAGT1, XLA, and general CVID among others. The goal of the NIAID PID clinic is to provide an expert referral center for clinicians worldwide and at NIH, who have complex patients with known or suspected primary immune deficiency diseases, with a focus on diagnosis and recommendations for management and improvement of care. He has contributed to research in the field of bone marrow transplantation for a range of topics, including donor lymphocyte infusions following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, viral infections post-HSCT, and the use of post-transplantation cyclophosphamide for transplant recipients with haploidentical donors. He has also enjoyed a career in music and the arts, having appeared in a number of regional and international musical theater productions.

She recently joined the NCI Center for Cancer research after working with the NHGRI auto inflammatory disease group from 2018 to 2022. She retired from the USPHS in August 2020 after 30 years, but continues to work at the NIH as a civilian.

Donna supports the mission of the GI team research through 1) patient screening processes and 2) medical management of clinical trial patients. She guest lectures in the nursing oncology education series: Concepts, Trends and Care. She is the recipient of the CCR Clinical Excellence Award in 2020.

Tenin completed an RN program in 2007 and worked on the medical/surgical unit and ICU at the Shady Grove Medical Center. She then received her BSN degree and MS as a family nurse practitioner at Bowie State University. Since graduation she has worked as an NP at a GI practice. In her role at the GI practice, she consulted, evaluated, and treated, in collaboration with the gastroenterologist, patients in the inpatient hospital setting. In addition to working at the GI practice, she has been working at NIH since 2015 as a per Diem employee in the ICU.

Dr. Allen is a Family Nurse Practitioner with the NHGRI Undiagnosed Diseases Program.
She previously worked for the NIH National Institute of Nursing Research where she has provided clinical support for Biobehavioral Research, Sensory Science and Metabolism and Tissue Injury sections. Dr. Allen received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from the George Washington University, School of Nursing. Her doctoral research assessed the personal actions and behaviors of healthcare providers regarding advanced care planning. Dr. Allen also has a Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College.
She has worked through Howard University as a genetic counselor in community health clinics in the District of Columbia. Dr. Allen has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Howard University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland. She has worked in multiple settings and populations as a nurse and nurse practitioner to include family practice, urgent care, college health, women’s health, inpatient obstetrics, and newborn nursery. She has taught baccalaureate and graduate level nursing students. Dr. Allen has co-authored posters and journals that reflect her interests.

Sandy Chow is a Nurse Practitioner with the NHGRI Undiagnosed Diseases Program. She worked for the NIH Clinical Center's Pediatric Consult Service from 2019 to 2023 after more than a decade at a local emergency department. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from Marymount University. While working in critical care, she returned to Marymount University for her Master of Science in Nursing. Sandy is dual certified as a Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Sandy is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners; and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.

Ms. Dolan started her nursing career as an inpatient oncology nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital after completing her BSN at Johns Hopkins University, and also has a BA in psychology from Bates College.

She is a certified physician assistant with a broad background in public health and formal training in epidemiology. She is engaged in clinical research in the Molecular Cancer Therapeutics Section of the Urologic Oncology Branch (UOB) of the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. Her research efforts are focused on the clinical development of therapeutic treatments for rare subtypes of renal cell carcinoma. She performs clinical evaluations of research participants and manage clinical research activities as a sub-investigator on several phase 2 clinical trial studies and natural history protocols. She also evaluates numerous patients seen in consultation for a second opinion from centers worldwide and from the UOB hereditary cancer program.
