Program Description
This fellowship provides an opportunity to engage in translational research on the physiology, quantitative imaging, and genetics of motor neuron disease and related disorders. Current studies are directed at characterizing clinical, genetic, and mechanistic features of motor neuron disease and frontotemporal dementia and assessing markers of disease progression. Fellows gain hands-on experience with clinical and translational research methodology and may take coursework to obtain an NIH certificate in clinical research.
