Take Part in a Survey & Health Education Event to Help Us Improve Health Communication!

The purpose of this study is to see if learning more about family health history can help African American families collect information about their family's health, understand their risk for certain diseases, and use this information to make healthy choices. As part of the study, we will ask you some questions about your family's health history. We invite you to take part in a health program.

You May Be Able to Participate if

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • Willing to participate in an interactive health education program
  • Able to engage with virtual reality goggles for extended periods

What to Expect

  • Volunteers will be compensated for their time not travel
  • The study involves two surveys, an interview, and participation in the health intervention
  • There are no medical procedures
