
Diets worldwide include both processed and unprocessed foods. Researchers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland seek adult volunteers between 18-60 years old to participate in a study examining how processed and unprocessed foods affect metabolic health. Participants will be required to remain at the NIH Clinical Center for one 4-week stay and eat only the foods provided.
You can participate if you are:
- 18-60 years of age
- Able to complete activities of daily living independently
- Healthy with no major health conditions
Study details:
- A 4-week inpatient stay at the NIH Clinical Center, which includes:
- Daily exercise of moderate intensity on a stationary bicycle
- Completion of questionnaires
- Blood work, urine and stool collections, and skin swabs
- Taste tests and continuous glucose monitoring
- Compensation will be provided
