
Researchers at the NIH Clinical Center are conducting a research study for an investigational vaccine that targets influenza (flu).
During the Study You Will
- Healthy adults ages 18 to 80 years may be eligible to participate.
- Complete a health screening, including medical history, undergo a physical exam, and give blood
- Receive the investigational vaccine 2 times
- Have 12 outpatient visits
- Be available for 68 weeks (15 months)
- Participants may receive up to $3,750 in compensation. Actual compensation depends on the number of visits and procedures completed
You May Be Eligible if You
- Are healthy and between the ages of 18 and 50
- Have a BMI less than or equal to 35 (calculate your BMI)
- Are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant while on study
- Have received 1 licensed influenza (flu) vaccine from the 2020-2021 flu season to the 2024-2025 flu season
- Willing to not receive the 2025-2026 licensed influenza (flu) vaccine
Prescreening determines initial eligibility and takes up to 20 mins via phone.
Location
This study is being conducted at the NIH Clinical Center, located on the Metro Red Line (Medical Center stop) in Bethesda, Maryland.
