The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Interest Group brings together investigators from a wide range of fields, including radiochemistry, image processing, mathematical modeling, physics, nuclear medicine, neurology, psychiatry, cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, cognitive neurosciences, and neurobiology. It is a forum for investigators developing new PET methods and using PET to study normal organ function and the pathophysiology of disease, and for those interested in learning more about PET. The group welcomes members from the NIH intramural and extramural community, other Federal agencies, and area universities and health-care facilities.
