Lieutenant Commander Samora Casimir is a clinical specialist/occupational therapist who evaluates and treats biomedical research patients of all ages with complex medical conditions. She integrates discipline-specific plan of care with other allied health clinicians to reduce activity limitations for populations challenged by physical, psychosocial, developmental, and environmental factors.

Lieutenant Commander Samora Casimir is a U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps Officer and an occupational therapy practitioner. She has a passion to serve hardship populations and their communities. She believes it is imperative to make health-related contributions that are culturally relevant, reduce health disparities among ethnic groups and improve mental health resiliency. In her free time, Samora enjoys exercising, traveling, engaging in community events, and spending time with her family and friends.
