Lt. Daanish Memon is an orthopedic specialist in the Physical Therapy Section of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, where he treats a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient neuromusculoskeletal conditions, rare diagnoses and those involved in clinical trials throughout the Clinical Center.

Daanish Memon, PT, DPT, OCS, is a lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service stationed at the NIH Clinical Center. He earned his BA in health administration and policy from the University of Maryland–Baltimore County and his doctor of physical therapy degree from Marymount University. Lt. Memon enjoys treating a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and is passionate about continuing his education and training to provide more efficient and effective treatment strategies to his patients to achieve their goals.
He is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and has completed his dry needling certification. Lt. Memon takes a holistic approach to care with the understanding that health is multifaceted and that each individual patient is unique.
A Montgomery County, Md., native, Lt. Memon is an avid fan of the Washington Commanders and Washington Wizards. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing pickup basketball and trying new food.
