Dr. Wind completed medical school at the University of Virginia and pediatric specialty training at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is currently undergoing a Masters in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Dr. Wind spent six years working for Médecins Sans Frontières in a variety of clinical and operational roles. She was based in Haiti, Honduras, Niger, South Sudan, the DRC, Tanzania, and Switzerland.
She now lives in Washington, DC, and works in outpatient medicine at the Upper Cardozo Clinic of Unity Health Care and as a Pediatric Hospitalist at the National Institutes of Health.
