Dr. Ante Liesbeth Wind is a pediatric hospitalist at the NIH with an interest in global and immigrant health.

Dr. Wind completed medical school at the University of Virginia, pediatric specialty training at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Masters in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Prior to the NIH, Dr. Wind spent six years working for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) in a variety of clinical, operational, and educational roles. She was based areas impacted by conflict, outbreaks, and malnutrition in the DRC, South Sudan, Haiti, Niger, Tanzania, and Honduras. She then worked in primary care with underserved and immigrant children at a DC based FQHC.

Dr. Wind now works full time as a pediatric hospitalist at the NIH, collaborating with principal investigators to care for complex patients admitted to the Clinical Center.
