Dr. M. Jennifer Cheng is a staff clinician of the Pain and Palliative Care Service at the NIH Clinical Center, where she also serves as the Program Director for the NIH Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program.

Dr. Cheng is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care and Internal Medicine.
She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical and remained on staff as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. She was a clinical fellow in Hospice and Palliative Care at the National Institutes of Health, and a Palliative Care research fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
She is currently a staff clinician on the NIH Clinical Center Pain and Palliative Care Service and is the Program Director of the NIH Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program. She participates in community outreach programs targeting advance care planning and end-of-life care in Chinese populations.
