Vivian Blair, MHA
Biosketch
Vivian Blair graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She attained her Master’s in Healthcare Administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2017. Ms. Blair is the chief of the Clinical Center’s Office of Hospitality and Volunteer Services and the Edmond J. Safra Family Lodge, in addition to the NIH patient Library and Messenger and Escort Service. She also serves as the Administrative Officer to the Clinical Center’s Critical Care Medicine Department. She is a member of the NIH Diversity Catalyst Charter and an executive secretary for the Pediatric Planning Group.
Prior to joining the Clinical Center in June 2019, she served in various roles at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. She started as an administrative assist for the summer internship program and diversity program in the Division of Intramural Research. Next, was a program specialist responsible for several projects including coordination of logistics for the BRAIN Initiative Multi-Council Working Group meetings. Then she was an Administrative Officer for the NINDS Office of the Director. Vivian is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), working towards the credential of board certification in healthcare management as a Fellow of ACHE.
