Children’s laughter filled the hallways of the hospital on April 25th to kick off Take Your Child to Work Day 30-year anniversary at the NIH. TYCTWD is an immersion day for school ages kids to learn about the various roles parents and relatives take on their everyday jobs. This day provides an opportunity for IC’s and departments to create their activity representing a fraction of their job duties. It allows the kids to take charge through hands on activities, explore career paths in science and public service and connect what they’re learning in school and the impact it can have on their futures tomorrow.
