The National Symphony Orchestra presented a 30-piece group of strings and percussion, conducted by Anthony Parnther, in the Clinical Center atrium on Sept. 20th. The symphony performed works by Mozart, Ellington, Coleridge-Taylor, Tchaikovsky and other composers. This is the tenth year of the National Symphony Orchestra Sound Health program; an initiative that seeks to explore the various ways music can reduce stress and promote tranquility and wellness for patients, staff and visitors.
